What is a career readiness programme?

A career readiness programme is a structured set of workshops and one-on-one sessions that prepares people for the job market. It covers ATS-friendly CVs, LinkedIn and PNet profiles, interview skills, workplace behaviour and a clear job search plan. Organisations use these programmes to support staff through restructuring, to prepare interns and graduates for work, and to improve employment outcomes for students.

Who we work with

  • Companies going through restructuring, retrenchments or the end of fixed-term and internship contracts.

  • Universities and TVET colleges that want to improve graduate employability and placement rates.

  • HR and Learning & Development teams looking for practical career workshops for staff.

  • SETA-funded and graduate programmes that need a workplace readiness component.

Our programmes

1. Corporate outplacement

When roles come to an end, how you support people matters to them and to your reputation. Our outplacement programme helps exiting employees rebuild their CVs, update their LinkedIn and job board profiles, practise interviews and follow a weekly job search plan.

Includes:

  • Group workshops on the South African job market and how recruiters search

  • ATS-friendly CV rebuild for each participant

  • LinkedIn and PNet profile optimisation

  • Interview preparation sessions

  • Progress check-ins and a final report for HR

2. Intern and graduate workplace readiness

Interns and graduates often have the qualifications but not the workplace know-how. This programme prepares them to perform at work and to land their next role when the contract ends.

Includes:

  • Professional conduct, communication and workplace expectations

  • Building a personal brand on LinkedIn

  • CV and cover letter workshops

  • Interview skills and mock interviews

  • Exit planning for the end of the internship

3. Student career readiness (universities and TVET colleges)

We partner with institutions to get final-year students and recent graduates job-ready before they enter the market.

Includes:

  • Career visibility talks and workshops on campus or online

  • ATS-friendly CV clinics

  • LinkedIn profile build sessions

  • Interview preparation and mock panels

  • Guidance on government and corporate recruitment processes in South Africa

4. Workplace workshops for teams
